I believe whole heartedly- that dog training can be done successfully without force or harsh punishment.
I want to strengthen your bond, not create fear and stress in your dogs life.

We expect a lot out of our canine friends, and they can live up to the high demands we set. However they need guidance, patience and respect.

MY STORY

My name is Brie - happy to have you here! Well, my love for animals started very young. Growing up I was extremely lucky to have the unconditional love from "Bandy" a Border Collie. She was my best bud. We were inseparable. Later on in life, as I started a family, we decide to get a dog. That didn't end well. She had ended up biting my son and a man working on our home. I was heartbroken, confused, and completely lost. I was told by the shelter, she indeed shouldn't have gone to a busy house or with young children. After the heartbreak started to fade, I found myself again seeking for the canine bond I once had. So we decide to get a puppy and start fresh with our son.  Have you ever heard of a backyard breeder? A backyard breeder is an amateur animal breeder whose breeding is considered substandard, with little or misguided effort towards ethical, selective breeding. Who knew? Not us. However, I found out quick. I saw/spoke with 7 trainers, to all tell me this new pup couldn't stay with us. Her food aggression was one thing but then it started to become random items around the house. I was told my options were to crate her while my son was around (which I felt wasn’t fair to her) or rehome her. Now at this time, our family had grown. I had a tiny little turkey who was about one year old. Yet again, I was heartbroken. “Why me??"  "What did I do?"  This is where my love for dogs grew into curiosity about back yard breeding, training, and behavior's less desirable. I couldn't just "let it go" or  "move on" from my experiences. I needed answers. And if I could help another owner, see red flags in breeders, while helping you find the right dog for your house hold - I knew I found my calling.   I love this new chapter and I'm excited to meet you and your pup!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PUPPY CLASSES.

Most people skip on the puppy classes. " I can teach my dog to sit" " We did some basic commands, I could of done that"
While all the basic commands are necessary, Its what you don't see.

Puppy socialization is helping your puppy have a variety of positive experiences out in the real world ensures that he has the behavioral tools to happily adjust to whatever life throws at him.

Well-socialized puppies grow into confident, happy dogs that are able to adapt to different social environments. Aside from potty training, socialization might be the most important thing you and your new pup do together!

Puppy classes really do set your new pup up for success.
